• Verified travel agents and influencers: can publish Exclusives for any destination, with no need to personally take the trip first.
• Travelers and community members: can publish an Exclusive only after booking, paying for, and completing the trip through I-Journey, which keeps itineraries authentic.

To qualify, an itinerary must include hotels, activities, and key details; have a clear schedule with no overlapping activities and realistic travel time; follow I-Journey’s formatting standards; and give travelers a way to reach every activity — a booking link, phone number, website, or address for each one. Flights are the exception and do not need contact details.

Exclusives are priced by trip length: $5 CAD for every week the trip runs. You keep 75% of every sale, with payments handled through I-Journey. A one-week itinerary unlocks for $5 CAD and earns you $3.75 CAD; a two-week trip unlocks for $10 CAD and earns you $7.50 CAD.

You connect a payout account from the Edit Profile section of your profile, and payouts run automatically on the 1st of each month.

Each sale is held for 30 days before it becomes payable. That window lets any refunds or card disputes settle first. So a sale made in early March is paid on 1 May, and a sale made in late March is paid on 1 June. Balances under the minimum payout amount roll over to the following month.

We can currently pay creators with a bank account in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland. If you are based elsewhere, you can still publish free itineraries and build your profile, but we are not yet able to pay out Exclusive earnings.

Build your itinerary on the site and publish it as an Exclusive for premium placement. Travelers unlock the full plan, you take your share of every sale, and anyone who wants you to book the trip for them can come to you directly.

Yes. Creating an account, applying for Verified Travel Creator status, and publishing itineraries are all free. There are no sign-up fees, listing fees, or monthly charges. I-Journey only earns when a traveler unlocks one of your Exclusives.

You do not need to sign up again. Log in, go to your profile, and open the Edit Profile section, where you will find the option to apply as a Verified Travel Creator.

No. We’re looking for great itineraries and real travel knowledge first, audience size second.

You do. You keep 100% ownership of every itinerary, photo, and piece of writing you publish. Publishing on I-Journey does not transfer any rights to us, and we will never present your work as our own.

Yes. There is no exclusivity. You are free to publish, adapt, or repurpose your itineraries anywhere else, including your own website, blog, newsletter, or social channels, with no fees or restrictions from I-Journey.

Your itineraries are shown on I-Journey so travelers can find them. Beyond that, the only other use is promotion, such as featuring one of your trips in an I-Journey social post or marketing piece, and when we do, your name and profile are always credited. Think of it as free advertising for your business.

Directly. Every itinerary includes a contact box with your own contact and booking details, so a traveler who wants you to plan or book the trip reaches you, not us. I-Journey does not sit between you and your clients.

You can remove any itinerary at any time, for any reason. Editing a published itinerary is not available yet. For now, to update a trip, remove it and publish the new version.

Never. Any commission you earn from booking a trip for a traveler is 100% yours. I-Journey’s only revenue from your work is its 25% share when a traveler unlocks one of your Exclusives. You keep the other 75%.

No. I-Journey is where travelers discover your itineraries. We do not book trips on your behalf or compete with you for the client. When a traveler wants the trip booked, they come to you and you book it the way you always do.

Payouts run on the 1st of each month to the payout account you connect from your profile. Each sale is held for 30 days first, so refunds and card disputes can settle before the money moves.
