7-Day Peloponnese Itinerary: Nafplio, Mystras & the Mani Peninsula

⚑ Report

The Peloponnese is Greece’s slower, older half of the mainland — a peninsula thick with Bronze Age citadels, Byzantine ghost towns, and a coastline that empties out the farther you drive from Athens. This loop threads Nafplio’s Venetian harbor, the Lion Gate at Mycenae, the abandoned marble stairways of Mystras, and the tower villages of the Mani peninsula, before circling back to the airport with a full week of the Peloponnese behind you.
