Greek Temples, Baroque Domes & a Live Volcano — A 10-Day Sicily Itinerary

⚑ Report

Sicily is big enough to earn a full ten days without ever feeling rushed — this loop runs west to east along the coast, from Palermo’s Byzantine mosaics and street markets through a beach night in Cefalù, three nights in Taormina with a day on Mount Etna’s summit craters, ancient Syracuse’s Greek theater and sea caves, and a final sunset at the Valley of the Temples before looping back to Palermo. Rental car picked up on day three, real hotels and guides at every stop, and 2026 prices throughout.

~2–2.5 hours · A18 autostrada south
