Ryanair has started filling in its summer 2027 map, announcing a first batch of 29 new routes. The airline says the full schedule is expected to pass 2,500 routes across 230 destinations, and more additions are promised later. Start dates and frequencies were not part of the initial announcement, so travelers will have to wait for those details before booking.
The notable pattern is where the new flights start. Eleven of the 29 leave from British airports, and most are regional rather than London gateways. Leeds Bradford picks up four, to Bari, Budapest, Corfu and Tirana. Newcastle gains Reus and Rhodes, while Birmingham to Wroclaw, Bournemouth to Porto, East Midlands to Gdansk, Exeter to Porto and Norwich to Malaga complete the UK list.
Elsewhere, the additions lean toward Mediterranean and North African links. Alicante gets new service to Naples and Tangier, Athens to Turin, Dubrovnik to Warsaw Modlin, Krakow to Tangier, Palermo to Marrakech and Tangier to Turin. The mix suggests Ryanair is chasing leisure demand on secondary routes where a low fare can create travel that did not exist before.
For flyers, the practical takeaway is timing. Ryanair typically opens new routes for sale soon after they are announced, and early fares on fresh routes can be among the cheapest of the season. Because schedules and prices are not yet published, it is worth watching the airline’s booking site and the airports involved rather than assuming a launch month.
