A New Grenada Resort Is Opening This Month With 40 Percent Off

The InterContinental Grenada Resort & Spa is scheduled to open in November on La Sagesse Bay, on the southeastern coast of the island, according to PAX News. The IHG-branded property has 120 rooms and more than 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. It joins a short list of major international resorts on Grenada.

The facilities lean toward a full-service beach vacation. There are five dining options, a spa and wellness retreat, a gym, a pool and beach club, courts for pickleball and padel, Pilates, and a kids’ program called Planet Trekkers. Holiday programming includes a paella night, an island-hopping buffet, a Boxing Day lunch and a New Year’s Eve event on the rooftop.

To fill rooms early, the resort has launched an opening offer for stays through January 2027. It includes 40 percent off the best available rate, daily breakfast, a welcome cocktail and a complimentary room upgrade at check-in, subject to availability. Early-opening discounts are common with new hotels, but they can end quickly, so anyone interested should check the terms and blackout dates.

One note of caution: PAX News says only that the hotel will open in November and does not give an exact date, so travelers booking around the holidays should confirm the opening status with the hotel before paying non-refundable rates. New resorts sometimes open in phases, with some restaurants or facilities arriving after the first guests.
