When to go

Peru and Bolivia’s dry season runs May to October, with clear Andean skies and safer overland travel; December through March brings rain and landslide risk. Patagonia’s shoulder seasons, October to early December and March to April, offer the best mix of stable weather, thinner crowds, and lower prices than the December-February peak.
