flydubai Resumes Dubai-Budapest Flights as It Doubles Down on Its Italy Network

flydubai relaunched nonstop service between Dubai and Budapest on July 31, flying the route three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays out of Terminal 3 at Dubai International. The Dubai-based carrier plans to scale the route up to daily flights by October 25, betting on growing demand between the Gulf and Central Europe.

The flights operate under flydubai’s codeshare agreement with Emirates, letting passengers earn and redeem Emirates Skywards miles and book connections across both carriers’ networks. Return economy fares from Budapest start around 182,900 forint, with business class starting near 802,400 forint.

The Budapest relaunch comes as flydubai simultaneously expands its Italian network, moving to daily flights to Naples starting July 27 and doubling its Milan-Bergamo service to twice-daily, or 14 times weekly, from July 31. Both Italian routes also run under the Emirates codeshare, with through-checked luggage for connecting passengers.

flydubai says a planned runway maintenance closure at Naples International will force a temporary shift of those flights to nearby Salerno Costa d’Amalfi and Cilento Airport for the month of November, before Naples service resumes in December.
