Emirates has announced that its daily Dubai–Orlando flight will move to the Airbus A350 starting November 1, 2026. The airline describes it as the first scheduled deployment of the A350 on a U.S. route. The jet replaces the Boeing 777 that has flown the Orlando service since it launched in 2015, so anyone who has booked the route before will notice a different cabin.
The aircraft seats 298 passengers in three classes: 32 business seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 premium economy seats and 238 in economy. Premium economy is the headline change for Florida-bound travelers. Emirates says those seats are 19.5 inches wide with 13.3-inch personal screens, and customers get a welcome drink, meals served on Royal Doulton china, priority boarding and a dedicated check-in area at Dubai International.
Schedules stay in the same overnight pattern. EK219 leaves Dubai at 3:05 a.m. and lands in Orlando at 10:20 a.m. local time, while EK220 departs Orlando at 8:20 p.m. and reaches Dubai at 7:10 p.m. the next day. Tickets are available through emirates.com/us, the Emirates app, retail stores, the contact centre and travel agents.
For Orlando travelers, the change adds a mid-priced cabin on a route that is among the longest the airline flies to the United States. It also gives theme-park visitors from the Gulf and beyond an alternative to flying through European hubs. As always, aircraft assignments can change, so travelers booking for the first weeks of November should check their reservation closer to departure.
