Seabourn has unveiled its 2029 summer ocean voyages, a program of 166 sailings reaching more than 180 destinations across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska, Canada and New England. Ovation will cover the Mediterranean, Quest will sail Northern Europe and later Canada and New England, and Encore will take on Alaska. The headline for many travellers is Egypt, where Seabourn is returning for the first time in more than five years, with overnights in Alexandria.
Ovation’s Mediterranean season runs from March to November 2029 with 21 itineraries. New specialty voyages include Italian Coast & Fireworks Over Corsica and Pyramids & Evening at Ephesus, and the ship will make a maiden call at Kapsali on the Greek island of Kythira. The program shows how cruise lines are leaning on distinctive evening experiences and overnight stays rather than simply adding ports.
Quest’s Northern Europe season runs from May to September 2029 and includes a new seven-day Gulf of Bothnia voyage between Sweden and Finland, with maiden calls at Härnösand, Kemi, Rauma and Oulu, plus Alta and Frøya in Norway. Extended or overnight stays are planned in Bordeaux, Rouen, Helsinki, Tallinn, Edinburgh and Hamburg, and Turku, Finland is visited in its 900th anniversary year. Voyages can be combined into 14-, 21-, 28-day or longer journeys.
Encore’s Alaska season runs from May to September with seven-day Juneau–Vancouver voyages and 10- and 11-day trips to Valdez, Whittier and College Fjord, some with scenic cruising in British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest. Quest then moves to Canada and New England in September and October with 12- and 13-day voyages and overnights in Boston, Quebec City and St. John’s, plus boutique ports such as Gaspé, the Îles-de-la-Madeleine and Prince Edward Island.
