Air France has filed plans to add two new U.S. destinations in summer 2027: Nashville and San Diego. Both will be served from Paris-Charles de Gaulle three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, using Airbus A350-900 aircraft with business, premium economy and economy cabins.
Nashville comes first, with service starting May 14, 2027. The flight is listed at roughly 9 hours 30 minutes westbound and 8 hours 20 minutes back. San Diego follows on May 17 and is a longer haul of about 11 hours 40 minutes westbound and 10 hours 55 minutes eastbound.
The competitive picture is different in each city. Nashville already has nonstops from Aer Lingus and British Airways, plus seasonal Icelandair, but Air France would give the SkyTeam joint venture its first nonstop there. San Diego is served by British Airways, KLM and Lufthansa, so all three transatlantic joint ventures would be represented once Air France arrives.
Trade reports suggest the flights may reuse aircraft freed up after Air France cut its Paris-Denver service, though that is analysis rather than an airline statement. The schedules were published as filed, so times and dates could still change before launch. Check the booking engine closer to May before building a trip around them.
