Princess Cruises is widening its Sanctuary Collection, the upgraded premium tier that until now lived on just Sun Princess and Star Princess. According to CruiseMapper, the line is extending it to five more Royal-class ships as part of a multi-year fleet modernisation programme, which turns a flagship perk into something much closer to a fleet-wide product.
The collection bundles selected suites and staterooms with exclusive onboard spaces. Guests get access to the Sanctuary Club, a relaxation area with an upgraded pool deck, optional cabanas and poolside food and drink service, plus a dedicated Sanctuary Restaurant with destination-inspired menus. Suite guests also receive a private lounge and a dedicated concierge, and the line has added oceanview staterooms to the eligible mix.
Every Sanctuary booking includes Princess Premier, the line’s all-in package covering premium drinks, specialty and casual dining, high-speed Wi-Fi, crew appreciation, room service and OceanNow delivery. Royal Princess goes first, with a 12-day South Pacific voyage departing January 4, 2027. Regal Princess opens for booking on November 5 with an April 17 transatlantic sailing from Port Everglades, followed by Discovery Princess, Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess in December.
Guests who booked a Reserve Collection stateroom on Royal Princess before October 22, 2026 will receive the extra Sanctuary amenities at no charge, though Princess Premier is excluded. Princess President Gus Antorcha said the move makes enhanced privacy, personalised service and premium amenities available to more passengers. Prices were not published in the announcement, so shoppers will need to compare fares once each sailing opens.
