Costa Found a Way to Sleep Aboard Ship at the Sanremo Festival

A coastal town on the Italian Riviera

Costa Cruises is returning to Sanremo, Italy, with its flagship Costa Toscana for two music-themed sailings timed to the Sanremo Music Festival 2027. The festival, the 77th edition, runs from February 16 to 20, 2027 at the Teatro Ariston.

The first sailing is reported as fully booked. The remaining voyage is a four-night cruise from February 17 to 21, covering the contest’s closing stages, including the final on February 20. Bookings for it are open, subject to availability, and Costa plans additional onboard entertainment and surprises, though the full program has not been announced.

There is an important detail for anyone tempted by the idea. A cruise booking does not automatically include admission to performances at the Teatro Ariston, so travelers need to arrange festival tickets separately. That distinction matters because festival access, not the cabin, is usually the harder item to secure.

Anyone considering the package should confirm the itinerary, departure port and embarkation details with Costa Cruises or an authorized travel agent before booking flights. With one sailing already sold out, the remaining cabins are likely to be the deciding factor for fans who want to pair the festival’s final nights with a stay aboard.
