Air Serbia has announced six new routes from Belgrade for 2027, according to Aviation Week’s weekly network roundup. The headline is Belgrade to Miami, a twice-weekly Airbus A330 service starting May 20, 2027. The other five are shorter regional links, which together push the airline’s map further into the Caucasus, the Nordics and Eastern Europe.
Belgrade to Yerevan begins March 28, 2027, three times weekly, rising to four weekly from mid-June. Belgrade to Helsinki follows on April 1 with three weekly flights. Later in the spring and summer come Cluj-Napoca on May 31 and Chisinau on June 3, both four times a week, and seasonal flights to Menorca from June 16 at twice weekly.
Miami matters because it gives Belgrade a second type of passenger: diaspora and leisure travelers heading to Florida and onward to the Caribbean, as well as Americans looking for an easy gateway to the Balkans. Two flights a week limits flexibility, so travelers should plan itineraries around the operating days and look at connections through Belgrade to cities across Southeast Europe.
Dates are still a year or more away in some cases, so schedules can change, and fares have not been published in the roundup. Even so, the batch shows how smaller European carriers use Belgrade as a hub to link markets that larger airlines serve only through big hubs. Anyone interested in the Caucasus or Nordic routes should watch for the opening of bookings later this year.
