Disney World Is Waiving Park Reservations for Four Days, for Some

Fairytale castle at a theme park

Walt Disney World is letting eligible Annual Passholders walk into its theme parks without a park reservation on four added “Good to Go” days, Monday, October 26 through Thursday, October 29. The change was reported on October 22 and applies only to passholders, not to guests on regular tickets.

Existing reservations on those dates are removed automatically and no longer count toward a passholder’s reservation limit, though they may still appear in My Plans. The relaxation does not override Annual Pass blockout dates or the parks’ capacity limits, so a busy gate can still close even when reservations are not required.

Disney has not given an official reason. The timing, just before the holiday season builds, suggests the company wants to give passholders flexibility during a quieter stretch of the calendar, though that is an interpretation rather than a stated explanation. October now has five Good to Go days in total, one of which, October 6, has already passed.

It is also temporary. Disney has not eliminated its reservation system, and no additional November dates have been announced so far. Passholders planning a last-minute visit next week should confirm their pass tier and the day’s status in the official app before heading to the gates.
