Air Serbia announced six new destinations for 2027 on October 20, with tickets already on sale from Belgrade. The headline addition is Miami, which begins on May 20 with two weekly flights and becomes the airline’s third US destination after New York and Chicago. The rest of the list leans east and south, and it adds up to the biggest single expansion the carrier has announced for next year.
Yerevan starts on March 28 with three weekly flights, rising to four from mid-June. Helsinki returns on April 1 with three weekly flights, after a service that ran in 2019 and was suspended during the pandemic. Cluj-Napoca follows on May 31 with four weekly flights and becomes the carrier’s second Romanian destination after Bucharest.
Chișinău begins on June 3 with four weekly flights, and Menorca on June 16 with two weekly flights, which makes it Air Serbia’s ninth Spanish destination. The airline ties the growth to rising transfer traffic, Belgrade’s role as a regional hub and demand ahead of EXPO 2027, the international exhibition planned for the Serbian capital.
To support the schedule, two Airbus A319s will be replaced by A320s with 180 seats, and an Embraer E195 with 118 seats will join the fleet for short and medium-haul flying. Air Serbia also said that more than 234,000 seats sold in seven days during a recent promotional campaign, a sign of how much appetite there is for connections through Belgrade.
