Crystal Serenity has entered a three-week drydock at the Lisnave shipyard in Setubal, Portugal, for a major refurbishment. Passengers return on November 9, 2026, on a 15-night repositioning voyage from Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale with stops in Portugal, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Public spaces get most of the attention. A new pool bar appears on Deck 12, while the Atrium and Crystal Cove receive a refreshed layout with more seating, a new marble dance floor, a live-entertainment stage and a De Castelli mosaic. The Waterside Restaurant, Stardust Club, Seahorse Pool and Marketplace are also being updated.
The Aquamarine Classic Suites on Deck 10 will have their living areas and bathrooms refitted with new furnishings, though the existing layout stays the same. Behind the scenes the yard will handle propulsion line work, hull cleaning and repainting, and electrical and automation upgrades.
After the transatlantic crossing, the ship sails Caribbean and West Coast itineraries through early January 2027, then departs on the 2027 World Cruise, a 139-night voyage in the Pacific. The refit therefore lands just before the longest sailing in its calendar.
