Shanghai Disney’s Third Hotel Has a Date, and a First for the Resort

Entrance to Shanghai Disneyland

Shanghai Disney Resort has set December 16, 2026 as the opening date for the Enchanted Star Hotel, its third Disney-themed hotel. Reservations open at midnight on November 6 through the resort’s reservation center, official channels and authorized travel partners.

The 400-room hotel is nine stories in an Art Nouveau style inspired by early twentieth-century Shanghai architecture. It sits on the shores of Wishing Star Lake beside the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, with views of Wishing Star Park and Shanghai Disneyland, and a dedicated connector links the two properties so guests at either can share fitness centers, pools, play areas, shopping and dining.

Initial room types are the Enchanted Star Deluxe Room, a Park View version, the Dream Room and the Club Room, with more to be released closer to opening. Disney says the hotel includes indoor swimming facilities and an outdoor pool that will operate in select seasons, weather permitting, which it describes as the first outdoor pool in the resort’s hotel portfolio.

The Enchanted Seasons Restaurant will combine Disney storytelling with Chinese and international cuisine, and three new crane sculptures near the hotel highlight the resort’s conservation stories. The details come from Disney’s own announcement, which did not include room rates, so pricing will only be clear when booking opens.
