Singapore Airlines will formally reveal its next-generation First and Business Class products on Friday, November 6, with a related event for its top-tier members the following day. The airline has already confirmed the date in a teaser video, and detailed specifications are expected once an embargo lifts that afternoon.
Early reporting from The Milelion describes the first meaningful overhaul of the carrier’s long-haul premium seats in almost two decades, replacing designs that trace back to 2013 and, in First Class, 2006. The First suite is said to feature three windows, French doors, electric blinds, an ottoman for dining with a companion and a 32-inch 4K OLED screen.
Business Class is reported to move to a 1-2-1 staggered layout with every seat facing forward, sliding privacy doors, direct access to a fully flat bed and a 22-inch 4K OLED display, plus USB-C, wireless charging and Bluetooth audio. Passengers in First are also expected to receive Bang & Olufsen wireless headphones for the first time.
The retrofit is expected to cover all 34 A350-900LH and all seven A350-900ULR aircraft, with the first refitted A350-900LH due back in service in the first quarter of 2027. Premium Economy and Economy get only a refresh on those jets; the new versions of those cabins are tied to the Boeing 777-9, whose date is unconfirmed. Treat the seat details as pre-announcement reporting until the airline publishes its own.
