Delta Air Lines will launch a daily nonstop between Austin and Northwest Arkansas National Airport, which serves Fayetteville, starting March 7, 2027. SkyWest will fly the route as Delta Connection using an Embraer E175, and tickets are already on sale. Service from Northwest Arkansas to Austin begins the following day, March 8.

The schedule is built around late-evening and early-morning connections: the Austin flight leaves at 8:59 p.m. and arrives at 10:49 p.m. local time, while the return departs at 6 a.m. and lands in Austin at 7:50 a.m. That timing suits both business travelers and those connecting onward.

The route is part of a much larger Austin push. Delta is targeting more than 70 peak-day departures to about 30 destinations by summer 2027, including new Paris and San Diego service, a second daily San Jose flight and year-round Cancun.

Luis Guitart, Delta’s Austin-based regional sales manager, described the new route as offering more choice and convenience to both regions. For Northwest Arkansas, it adds a direct link to one of Texas’s fastest-growing tech and leisure markets.
