Royal Caribbean opened bookings for its summer 2028 season on November 5, starting with Crown & Anchor members. The season runs from April to October across 11 ships sailing from Florida, Texas and the Northeast, so travelers planning more than a year and a half ahead can now lock in dates and cabins.

Four Icon Class ships headline the lineup. Hero of the Seas sails from Miami on seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, Legend of the Seas from Fort Lauderdale on six- and eight-night trips beginning in April, Star of the Seas from Port Canaveral on seven nights, and Icon of the Seas from Galveston on six- and eight-night Western Caribbean voyages.

Other ships round out the program. Symphony of the Seas from Miami is slated to get new Royal Amplified experiences, with details still to come, while Harmony of the Seas from Port Canaveral finished its Royal Amplified refurbishment in May 2026. Brilliance sails from Tampa, Enchantment from San Juan, Vision from Baltimore, and Oasis and Independence from Cape Liberty in New Jersey.

Royal Caribbean has also said it will send four ships to Alaska in summer 2028, so this release is one piece of a larger season. Early booking is no guarantee of the lowest price, but it does give families the widest choice of cabins and sailing dates for school-holiday weeks.
