Ryanair has put the first 29 routes of its Summer 2027 schedule on sale, and the list leans toward British regional airports rather than London’s big hubs. The announcement, made on October 12, spans Europe and North Africa, and the airline describes it as only the opening batch of a much larger summer programme that is still to be revealed in the weeks ahead.
Eleven of the new services are point-to-point links from regional UK airports to southern and central Europe. Leeds Bradford picks up flights to Bari, Budapest, Corfu and Tirana, while Bournemouth, Exeter, Newcastle and Norwich gain direct connections to Mediterranean and Iberian destinations that include Porto, Málaga, Reus and Rhodes. For travellers who live far from London, that means fewer connections on the way to the beach.
The rest of the batch reaches beyond Britain, adding cross-border links between Spain, Italy, Poland, Albania and Morocco. Flying will mainly be done with Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 8-200 aircraft, and seats can already be reserved through the Ryanair app and website, so early planners can lock in dates for next summer now.
Ryanair says its full Summer 2027 network will cover more than 2,500 routes across 230 airports and carry over 214 million passengers a year. Chief Marketing Officer Dara Brady called this the first of many route announcements, so anyone eyeing a specific airport may want to see what else the carrier adds before committing to a booking elsewhere.
