Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts brand has opened The Den Bengaluru in India’s technology capital, adding a luxury address with 226 rooms and suites. The Points Guy flagged the opening in its weekly hospitality roundup, noting that rates start around $176 a night, or 66,000 Hilton Honors points per night.
The hotel leans on food and wellness. A rooftop restaurant serves Mediterranean and Indian dishes, and The Sanctuary Spa and a pool round out the relaxation side. Families and groups get a game room called The Playhouse, which is an unusual amenity for a luxury property in the segment.
The pricing is the story for points collectors. At about 66,000 points a night, a stay costs a hefty chunk of a typical balance, but the cash rate near $176 is far lower than comparable luxury brands command in many Western cities. That gap between points value and cash price is worth running the numbers on before deciding how to pay.
The opening also shows how global hotel groups are chasing growth in India. Bengaluru is a major business and tech hub with steady corporate travel, so the property should draw both executives and leisure guests. As with any new opening, early reviews and availability will be the best guide to how the hotel performs once the launch period passes.
