JetBlue and Virgin Voyages Are Selling a Getaway Where the Kids Stay Home

Couple relaxing on the deck of a cruise ship at sea

JetBlue Vacations and Virgin Voyages have put together a package with a pointed name: Do Not Disturb. It goes on sale October 21 and pairs a kid-free JetBlue flight with an adults-only cruise, a combination that plays to the one thing Virgin Voyages has always sold hard, which is that nobody under 18 is aboard.

The cruise is a four-night sailing on Brilliant Lady from Miami, running March 4 to 8, 2027, with stops in Key West and at Virgin Voyages’ Beach Club in Bimini. The price is $2,750 for two guests, and that figure includes taxes, fees and gratuities, which is not always how cruise packages are quoted.

The extras are where the package tries to justify itself. Travelers get a round-trip JetBlue flight between New York JFK and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, access to JetBlue’s BlueHouse lounge at JFK on a limited, first-come basis, an in-flight toast from Virgin Voyages, and private transfers between the airport and PortMiami with luggage handled. On board there is priority boarding, a private welcome party, a $100 bar tab per cabin and in-cabin surprises.

There is a loyalty angle too. Booking through JetBlue Vacations earns TrueBlue points and tiles toward Perks You Pick and Mosaic status, along with eligible rewards through Virgin Voyages’ Sailing Club. Ten guests will also receive $50 in onboard credit.
