LOT Polish Airlines began flying nonstop between Warsaw and Bangkok on October 7, 2026, a route trade outlets describe as a return after a long absence. The service is year-round and uses Boeing 787 Dreamliners, giving Central Europe a direct line to Thailand’s capital.
The launch schedule is three flights a week through October 25. From October 26, as the winter season starts, LOT steps up to five weekly rotations, with the Warsaw departure moving to the early afternoon and the return leaving Bangkok in the morning.
Flight time is roughly 10 hours 20 minutes outbound from Warsaw and close to 12 hours coming back. The Tourism Authority of Thailand worked with the airline on the launch and describes Poland as a growing source market for Thai tourism.
For travelers, the route offers an alternative to connecting through Gulf or Western European hubs, which can matter for Poles heading to Southeast Asia and for Asian visitors looking at Poland and the wider region. Winter is peak season for Thailand, so the added frequencies arrive at a useful time.
