Air Serbia is adding Florida to its U.S. map. The airline announced this week that it will fly from Belgrade to Miami starting May 20, 2027, with two flights a week, giving the Balkans a nonstop link to one of America’s busiest international gateways.
Miami will be Air Serbia’s third U.S. destination and its fourth in North America. The carrier already serves New York’s JFK and Chicago O’Hare in the United States, plus Toronto in Canada, so the new route extends a transatlantic network that has grown steadily around its Belgrade hub.
The announcement did not name the aircraft that will operate the route, so the cabin product is still an open question. Seat sales and fares will be the next thing to watch, particularly for travelers in Florida with family or business ties in Serbia and the wider region, who until now have usually connected through another European hub.
Miami is not the only expansion on the board. Air Serbia has also lined up new 2027 service to Yerevan in Armenia, Helsinki in Finland, Cluj-Napoca in Romania, Menorca in Spain and Chișinău in Moldova, a sign that the airline is pushing growth on several fronts at once.
