K-Pop Tour Dates Are Doubling Hotel Bookings in Cities You Might Not Expect

Concert crowd with stage lights

Travel technology company Amadeus reports that concert dates for BTS and BIGBANG are sending bookings surging across Asia. Its figures, based on reservations held as of September 26 and compared with the same point in 2025, show inbound air reservations around the December performance windows up 100 percent in Nagoya.

Singapore is up 62 percent and Bangkok 41 percent in the same comparison. Hotel demand is following: for stays on December 19 in Singapore, 40 percent of rooms were booked, compared with 23.9 percent a year earlier.

The numbers highlight how a single entertainment calendar can reshape travel patterns. Cities that sit outside the usual holiday-season peaks can suddenly see tight room supply and higher fares around show dates, which tends to catch non-fans by surprise.

These are company-reported figures drawn from booking data rather than final attendance counts, and they capture reservations made so far. Travelers heading to these cities in December, whether for the music or not, may want to book flights and hotels early and compare nearby dates.
