JetBlue’s new domestic first-class cabin is not staying exclusive for long. From February 1, 2027, all four Mosaic tiers will be eligible for complimentary, space-available upgrades to BlueFirst, and one companion on the same reservation can share the upgrade. JetBlue broadened eligibility on October 22.
The fine print sets limits. Main Base and EvenMore Base fares are excluded, and Premier Cardmembers qualify if the booking is charged to their JetBlue card. Eligible members join the queue automatically at check-in, and JetBlue works the list roughly 60 minutes before the door closes. The complimentary upgrade does not extend to the Mint cabin.
BlueFirst itself goes on sale first on a handful of routes. Boston to Fort Lauderdale starts December 8, 2026, followed by Fort Lauderdale to New York LaGuardia on December 12 and Fort Lauderdale to Austin on December 26. More domestic, Caribbean and Central American markets follow through January 2027. JetBlue has not published weekly frequencies.
Certificates are changing as well. Move to Mint certificates become Premium Upgrade Certificates usable for Mint or BlueFirst where seats exist, and Mosaic 2 members can choose one through Perks You Pick from February 1, with a 60-day deadline per choice.
