Holland America Line has launched Alaska Heritage Tours, a set of excursions that revisit places and traditions from its earliest years in the state. The launch comes ahead of the line’s 80th anniversary in Alaska, which it will mark next summer.

Carole Biencourt, vice president of onboard revenue, said the featured tours have been part of the line’s journey since its first explorations of Alaska in the 1940s. The lineup includes the McKinley Explorer Railroad, a glass-domed train through Alaska’s interior, and the White Pass Summit Scenic Railroad, which follows the Klondike Gold Rush route above Skagway.

Also featured are the Mendenhall Glacier Explorer from the heart of Juneau, the Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise among tidewater glaciers in search of whales and sea otters, and the Denali Tundra Wilderness Tour deep into Denali National Park.

Heritage Tours are open for booking on select 2027 Alaska cruises and Cruisetours, including Alaska Cruisetours, Alaska Explorer and Inside Passage itineraries, along with the 28-day Legendary Alaska Arctic Circle and Glacier Discovery sailings. Pricing was not included in the announcement.
