TUI River Cruises has announced its largest summer programme yet for 2028: 10 ships and 43 itineraries of three to 14 nights, running March to October, with capacity up 26 percent. Bookings opened October 15, and the line sails the Rhine, Moselle, Danube, Dutch and Belgian waterways, Douro and Nile, and for the first time the Seine.

Two newbuilds join the fleet. TUI Zora enters service on the Rhine on May 7, 2028, and TUI Velara debuts on the Danube on August 14, 2028, each carrying up to 188 passengers in 94 cabins. The adults-only, 110-metre TUI Elara, with 138 passengers in 70 cabins, joins in March 2027 and begins Seine itineraries on March 20, 2028.

Seine cruises run four, seven and ten nights from Paris through Vernon and Rouen to Le Havre. Elsewhere, TUI Luzia handles seven-night Douro cruises, TUI Aria, the fleet’s largest ship, moves to the Danube, and TUI Maya and TUI Skyla run solo departures on the Danube and Rhine.

Pricing starts from £1,749 per person for the seven-night Danube Treasures on TUI Velara, based on two adults sharing a Standard Cabin on Deck 1, Full Board Plus, with TUI Airways flights from London Gatwick. New UK flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle include Air France from Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh, and easyJet from several UK airports.
