Norwegian’s Last Prima Ship Is Already Taking Bookings for 2028

Large cruise ship at sea

Norwegian Cruise Line has revealed Norwegian Bella, the sixth and final ship in its Prima class, due to arrive in May 2028 from Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard in Italy. She will carry 3,921 passengers, tying sister ship Norwegian Aura as the largest in the fleet, according to Cruise Critic.

Inaugural itineraries are seven-day roundtrips from Barcelona, calling at Civitavecchia for Rome, Livorno for Florence, Salerno, Marseille and Palma de Mallorca. Sales have already opened, which gives cruisers a long runway to plan.

The headline feature is Ocean Heights, a multi-level open-air complex on decks 18 through 21 with slides, a ropes course, a mini-golf course and nighttime lighting with LED projections. Aura will have it too. Down on deck 8, Ocean Boulevard wraps the ship with added seating and includes Infinity Beach, with infinity pools, upscale daybeds, hot tubs and a full-service outdoor bar.

The pool deck is more than 15% larger than those on Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna and includes an infinity hot tub and a large LED entertainment screen. The hull art is an original design by Australian contemporary artist George Rose. Gross tonnage, length and cabin counts have not been released.
