Etihad Is Sending Its Three-Room Sky Suite to Bangkok

Etihad Airways began operating the Airbus A380 on its daily Abu Dhabi–Bangkok service on October 25, the superjumbo’s first Thailand route for the airline. Etihad says Bangkok was one of the most requested destinations for its next A380.

The evening flight, EY402, leaves Abu Dhabi at 9:20 p.m. and lands in Bangkok at 6:35 a.m.; the return, EY403, departs at 8:30 a.m. and arrives at 12:20 p.m. The upgrade adds capacity on a popular leisure route ahead of peak winter travel.

The aircraft carries 405 Economy seats, 70 Business lie-flat seats and nine First Apartments, plus The Residence, a three-room suite with a living room, bedroom and ensuite bathroom for up to two guests.

Business passengers also get The Lobby, a shared lounge and bar area. Etihad is pitching the flights alongside its Abu Dhabi stopover offers, and the A380 follows its June launch on the Abu Dhabi–Tokyo route.
