United Airlines has announced four new routes for 2027. Three start from San Francisco on March 28: seasonal service to Charleston, South Carolina, four times a week through November 30, and daily year-round flights to Hartford, Connecticut and Oklahoma City.
The Charleston and Hartford routes will be flown on United mainline narrowbody aircraft, while Oklahoma City will be a United Express service. The airline has not specified the aircraft types in the announcements reported so far.
The fourth route is international. United plans weekly Saturday flights between Chicago O’Hare and Bermuda starting April 3, 2027, using a Boeing 737, subject to government approval. It would be United’s second service to the island, alongside its existing year-round Newark flights.
The additions are modest in scale but show where United sees demand: secondary US cities from its West Coast hub, and a leisure route that adds a Midwest gateway to Bermuda. Schedules and fares can still change before booking opens.
