If you are shopping for a 2027 city break, Skyscanner’s latest best-value list points to some unexpected places. Bilbao in Spain, Wrocław in Poland and Bordeaux in France top the ranking, which looks at where prices have dropped most compared with a year earlier.
Bilbao leads by a wide margin. The list shows airfares to the Spanish city down 66 percent and hotel stays down 63 percent compared with 2025. Wrocław follows with flights down 47 percent, and Bordeaux is down 34 percent.
The rest of the top 10 includes Zürich at 33 percent lower, Ancona in Italy at 31 percent lower, Rhodes at 22 percent lower, Pula and Carcassonne at 20 percent lower, Fez at 19 percent lower and Krabi at 15 percent lower. The mix spans budget-airline hubs, Mediterranean islands and a Swiss financial center.
A caution on method: the figures are based on economy return flights booked in the first half of 2026 for 2026 travel, compared with the same period the year before. They show how prices moved recently, not guaranteed fares for 2027, so it still pays to compare dates and airlines before booking.
