Philippine Airlines is scheduled to begin nonstop service between Manila and Chicago O’Hare on November 9, 2026. Flights operate three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, using an Airbus A350-900.
Afternoon departures from Manila arrive in Chicago the same day, while evening departures from O’Hare land in Manila the next morning. Chicago becomes PAL’s eighth U.S. destination, joining Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Honolulu, Guam, Saipan and Seattle.
The route nearly hit a slot obstacle. Delta had objected to PAL’s application over slot access at Manila, then withdrew that objection in an April 3 filing, clearing the way for launch. The airline also plans freight capacity on the route.
The schedule and an introductory fare from $667 round trip economy were announced in April, so current fares and timings may differ. The new link gives Midwest travelers and the large Filipino community in the region an alternative to connecting through the West Coast.
