El Al Is Planning Its Biggest Americas Summer Ever

El Al Israel Airlines is planning a record schedule between Israel and the Americas for summer 2027, with about 35,000 seats a week. Aviation Week’s rolling routes update lists the changes as added frequencies plus two routes extended into the summer season, all flown with Boeing 787 aircraft. The page gives no specific start dates for the changes.

New York gets the biggest boost. Tel Aviv to New York JFK and Newark combined rises to as many as seven flights a day, or 36 a week. Miami increases by two frequencies to nine weekly, Los Angeles reaches nine weekly, and Boston operates four times a week.

Two routes stand out as firsts. San Francisco will operate three times a week in the summer for the first time, and Buenos Aires continues into the summer season for the first time, at twice weekly. For travellers on the West Coast or in South America, that means a seasonal option that did not exist before.

A published schedule is a plan, not a guarantee, and airlines adjust frequencies as conditions change. If you are thinking about booking summer 2027 travel to Israel, the practical step is to check when the airline’s schedule opens for your dates and whether the route you want operates on the weekday you need.
