Singapore Airlines scheduled a reveal of its next-generation cabins for November 6, 2026, with new First and Business Class seats going into refitted A350-900 aircraft. Pre-reveal coverage says the first refitted A350-900LH is due back in service in the first quarter of 2027, along with ground upgrades for First Class at Changi.
The refit covers 41 aircraft, 34 A350-900LH and 7 ultra-long-range A350-900ULR jets. On the LH version, total seats rise from 253 to 258. The ULR, which flies the airline’s longest routes, gets a bigger change: total seats fall from 161 to 132, with four First Class seats added and Premium Economy cut from 94 seats to 58.
The current long-haul First and Business seats date back to 2013 on the 777-300ER, so the upgrade is overdue. Premium Economy and Economy get only a refresh on the A350, while features such as 4K screens, Bluetooth and USB-C are reserved for the future 777-9.
No launch route has been confirmed, though London and Sydney are described as the most likely options. These details come from reporting ahead of the unveiling, so check the airline’s own announcement for final specifications before booking around a particular cabin.
