United Airlines is adding four nonstop routes for spring 2027, and the airline says no other carrier flies any of these city pairs without a stop today. Three of them leave from San Francisco and start on March 28, 2027.
San Francisco to Oklahoma City will run daily on a United Express regional aircraft. San Francisco to Hartford is also daily, on a mainline narrowbody. San Francisco to Charleston flies four times a week, on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, also on a mainline narrowbody.
The fourth route heads out to sea. Chicago O’Hare to Bermuda begins on April 3, 2027 and operates once a week. The aircraft type was not specified in the announcement.
United has not said whether any of the routes are seasonal or year-round, which matters for travelers planning beyond spring. The SFO additions come as the airport describes this as United’s biggest schedule there in the company’s history.
